The Gypsy Spot...

I love my Cricut Expressions and love what I can do with my Design Studio, but Cricut has come out with the Gypsy. A portable way to manipulate cricut cuts. I would love to get one of these and am even trying to figure out if I can afford to get one on Black Friday. Today I noticed on The Gypsy Spot they are giving away a FREE Gypsy! That would be great to win one, imagine all the fun things you could create with one. Head on over and enter to win. I'm going to!!

Crafting... what's that?

Well school is back in session for the kids and myself. Between working part-time, doing my school work and homework, helping the kids, being a mom, being a wife, etc., etc. etc. I seem to not have time for crafting (like many of you). I'm hoping to be better about crafting on the weekends, that's my goal at least. I'm thinking I need to make some sort of rewards system for doing my homework and studying.
Anyway on to the crafting...
I like the simplicity of this card (don't like how fuzzy the picture is though, sorry!!) I used divine swirls cuttlebug folder on the top, don't know what papers I used, love the green grosgrain ribbon, and a prima flower. I made about 10 of these and left them blank as I've needed a card I stamp a sentiment in the lower left hand corner.

I've been working on an a Word Wall for the Kindergarten class that I work in-using the Zooballo cricut cartridge, such a fun cartridge. I borrowed it from my sweet sister-in-law and am thinking I need to buy one of my own, I see lots of potential uses. I love the penguins and the koala. Hope to have this done in the next week and will post pictures too!!
I'm going to be doing some blog candy in October so watch for details on that coming soon!!

Cupcake birthday

I used scraps from my scrap file and even ribbon scraps out of my scrap jar for this card, I love when I do that. The stamps are a Close to My Heart set I earned for free back in April love the cupcake, I also used Close to My Heart inks (don't remember the colors though). I think I even used a sheetloads sketch for this card. This was a fun card to put together.
Schools been in session here for 3 weeks and I think I'm finally getting the routine down. Hopefully now that I'm getting back into the swing of things I can get my crafting mojo back and be able to share more current projects.
I'm really excited I ordered 3 new Close to My Heart sets last night. I can't wait to get them and create!!!
Thanks for looking!!! I love comments!!!

1 is fun!

I made this invite to my son's First Birthday party back in April! I love the ribbon on this it's from the Dollar spot at Michael's- I think I bought every color they had of this fun argyle ribbon. I cut the 1 out from Plantin cricut cartridge. I used my Numbers Cuttlebug folder to do the background. Is fun, is stamped from a Close to My Heart alphabet. These were fast, simple and turned out very cute- my favorite kind of cards to make.
Watch for next weeks post, I'm working on some blog candy. Can't wait to share!!
Have a great week!!!

This is our Everyday Heroes Bulletin Board. On this bulletin board each student will bring a poster all about them- it will be displayed for a week. I loved making these fun paper dolls, especially the little accessories for the girls. The letters are cut from Mickey and Friends font cartridge, the paper is Daisy D's (I believe) shadowed in red bazzill. I love how this board turned out, I can't wait to showcase our students on it.
Thanks for looking!!
